Gorleston Clifftop Festival, the family-friendly, coastal favourite, returns for 2019 and is better than ever! A weekend full of fun hits the east coast on the 27th & 28th July with a host of superlative live music, food, drink, comedy, attractions and a host of high octane fairground rides. Gorleston Clifftop Festival attracts numbers of over 100,000 visitors across the two days and with a wide range of things on offer, you can see why! The event is free entry which is great for families visiting the area or wanting to escape to the coast. The event takes place every year in July and is organised by a voluntary committee. The events costs circa £30,000 to host, depending on donations, sponsorship and pitch fees to fund the fab festival - make sure you head along and show your support!
Also, when you visit the festival be sure to spot the movie locations around Gorleston-on-Sea, including the Pier Hotel, which were the backdrop for many of the scenes of the latest movie ‘Yesterday’! Watch the trailer below to see more!
Food & Drink
If you are popping to the festival, you are of course welcome to bring your own food & drink. However, if you are anything like us and love a spot of eating out, there will be a variety of food and drinks on offer including pizza, hot dogs, gourmet burgers, fish & chips, a hog roast and italian food, plus some licensed bars and ale tents! Soak up the sun, get the sunglasses on and savour the taste of some amazing local food & drink…
40 hours of live music & rock on with Tingdene!
The festival boasts 40 hours of live music across the acoustic stage and main stage from a range of music genres by a host of bands and acts! Other reasons to visit over the weekend include a free children’s arena, the emergency services, a dog show, a strong man competition, WAW Wrestlers, performances from dance & stage schools and sports events too! This festival scooped up the ‘Working Team’ award by the Greater Yarmouth Tourism Awards, so this festival is one to watch!
